Does just what it says on the tin!

Jul 31, 2003 - By Amazon Customer

I have to admit buying this product on the basis that it was cheaper than most competitive products. I also admit to being slightly nervous that the product may not be up to scratch.
So - the card duly arrived and I installed it. It worked a treat - surpassing expectations.
In-fact I'd recommend it. I was particularly impressed that even though the card is operating at the back of a midi-towewr, under a desk and some way from my wireless router, it's getting better and more reliable signal strength than my laptop card on the desk and nearly line of sight to the WLAN router.

The setup couldn't have been easier - just follow the simple instructions. It works a treat and I've had no probles at-all. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it. Does just what it says on the tin - er box.

wireless choose USB, PCI not flexable

Aug 21, 2003 - By Amazon Customer

Great value for money little worried about it working with my Linksys cable RF router, but no problems tried it on a windows 98 system and XP neither had any problems, that said although cheaper than the Linksys USB adapter I would go for USB every time it means you can have your desktop, portable whatever you want wireless, why have a fixed PCI card ?

Good product

Nov 9, 2003 - By Christopher Martin (UK)

A good product which works well under an less than ideal environment. Installation was easy under ME, I had no problems setting up the SSID etc, due to the distance from the base station (50 meters plus a couple of walls) I used a larger anntena to boost reception and manually set the speed to 2mbs.
