The Dogs Bits!

Dec 27, 2003 - By d p hamer (Plymouth, Devon United Kingdom)

Where do i start? The delivery came as promised and just before xmas too....which was nice.
The headphones themselves are quite remarkable, range of 100m and can recieve through walls! What's more....it does exactly that with clear and precise reception from the reciever unit, which plugs directly into your headset jack. When i say clear and precise, what i mean is the sound quality is what you would expect from a manufacturer of this high grade name. The sound, in short, is superb. The headset is lightweight and unobtrusive, you do forget that you are wearing them.

Money well spent?
My wife thinks so!!

This product easily deserves the five star rating i have given it, and believe me i tried to find fault with it!
If you want excellent sound quality from headphones but dont want the tangle.....then this is definately for you

Ta!

SENNHEISER RS 45

Jul 15, 2004 - By Mr. A. T. Lunt (U.K)

I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED DECENT HEAD PHONES, BUT DECIDED I WOULD LIKE THE FREEDOM THAT CORDLESS WOULD OFFER ME.
WITH THIS IN MIND I OPTED FOR A COMPANY THAT HAS MADE SOME VERY GOOD HEADPHONES SENNHEISER
WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT SOUND QUALITY VERY POOR i have a pair of
sennheiser px100 which i use with my i pod that has better bass, better seperation, ect
also initial charge is 24hours and 12 hours to re charge
all for approximatley 4 hours listening
you can buy an extra battery pack which can be charging while your listening
but i think i will use a jack addapter and plug in my px 100
to my hi-fi
very dissapointing sennheiser you know you can do better

Superb Sound. Greate ease of use. "High" outside Silence.

Jan 14, 2004 - By Eng PAULO JORGE M NUNES (Lisbon, Portugal)

I have a 12 month kid and since she was born my movie watch and music earing time has decreased a lot. With these phones I get to do both whenever she is asleep without the risk of waking her up.
I can do all of this while getting a superb sound quality and ease of use (the auto tuning although I almost never had to use it it's great - and I know what I am saying because I've tested a manual one).
You can even use several phones with the same base transmitter. Great for several listeners.

If you need wireless phones pay the price buy these and you won't regreat it.

Reasonable for price

Feb 2, 2004 - By Amazon Customer

I was expecting a drop in sound quality from cord-headphones and this was quite noticeable when listening to Rock and other vocal music through the RS-45's. The instruments were a little hard to define at times, although the overall dynamic range of the headphones was good.

They also tended to sound a little phasey and tinney at times with music with more punch. They were fine for dance music and use with the TV however, as these sounds suits these headphones.

Another disadvantage is that during quiet periods they increase the volume (as they try and maintain a fixed level), and when the music kicks again you loose effect as the headphones reduce the volume back down again to maintain that fixed level. Slightly annoying when you are looking forward to that big blast!

Interference was minimal, range was good and battery life too. However they are going back to the shop on Saturday as they aren't good enough for the amount and quality of music listening I demand. However, if you are looking for sheer convenience and aren't so bothered about sound then I should think they would be fine.

Not quite worth the money

Mar 22, 2004 - By Alex Ryder (Blighty)

I have being using wireless headphones for some years now. Mainly infrared. However i was impressed by the reviews on Amazon, and decided to part with my money. Sadly the headphones disapointed me. My previous infra red's sound quality was far higher. And the range was fine if you are in the same room. However the rs 45's sound gets hissy even in the same room. I use them in bed which is about ten feet from the transmitter. And the sound declines and the hissing begins. Where as my old infra reds work fine.

Personally i wish i had just kept my old Infrared's becase to me the Rs45's just are not worth the money.
