Great sound-Funky Style

Jan 28, 2004 - By Amazon Customer

Personally I think the picture speaks for it self, Sennheiser’s HD200 are the sleekest most funky headphones around. Their cool cosmic egg shaped-form in pure white makes them not only look cool, but the sound on these babies is brilliant as well. Especially when hearing a genuine CD, but these can even make mp3s sound good…
I have listened to many different kinds of music on mine and they have a good overall sound for all types of music. When I first got mine (Christmas 2003) I used them with a cheap Discman, buying good headphones for cheap audio players is a good way of increasing sound quality and pepping a slightly naff portable audio player up. But now I’ve got an iPod, and I must say the two make a perfect match in their unique pure white.
Sennheiser HD200 are very flexible so you can make them fit perfectly, so no matter what head or hair shape you have, they will sit nice and snug. They also don’t fall off when running or biking like others. They are exceedingly light yet stable. Ideal for use on, iPod, minidisk, Discman, computer, or an electric violin… They are great for sharing your music just twist themround so you an your mate can sit close and have an ear each.. This is also useful when DJ-ing. Their style is so versatile whether you are a laid back retro chick, sk8er Boi, or businessman, they are bound to suit you sir… The only thing I find slightly annoying is that the cord is so long, so if one does use them for portable players with for example a remote that you would like to connect it gets even longer, but nothing that a little loop can’t solve…
If you were looking for headphones with fantastic sound quality, gorgeous looks, and a well-respected brand name, then look no further… Just order and wait to enjoy…

Its OK!

Sep 21, 2006 - By C. S. Le

The headphones are quite sturdy, sound quality is good, not the best but then for the price you are paying they are pretty good headphones! I have however 1 compliant, it is that the padding of the headphones are very tacky, they are made out of foam, the kind of cheap foam from a sponge, about comfort well, you can imagine, its Ok but after long use your ears start to go sore!

Great sound, not so great build quality

Dec 4, 2006 - By chris (Glasgow, UK)

Well, most importantly the sound quality is really good (for the price); despite being pretty bass heavy, they manage to keep everything nice and crisp and the mids and highs come through well too. Build quality isn't that great though- the headband seems to have been made from really cheap plastic and seems kinda flimsy, so I have concerns about how much punishment these would stand up to if you were on the move a lot. Having said that, they are extremely light and comfortable to wear and I found the foam was soft enough around my ears to not interfere with my specs. Overall, I'm happy with these and would recommend them if sound quality is more important than build quality to you.
