Perfect portable player

I've owned this product for almost a year now and i am extremely pleased with it.
The design is smooth and sleek and the player is so compact you wouldnt belive that a minidisc would fit insde it!
I have recenly been considering buying an mp3 player but realsing the beauties of this product has made me reconsider. The MDLP mode allows up to 5 hours of music to be recorded onto a single minindsc and loss of sound quality is barely noticable.
The included speakers are also a huge bonus as the player simply slots in and can also allow it to charge up. Battery life is otstanding and i rarely have to recharge it anyway.
All in all a wonderful minidisc player.

This Is Wonderful!

Literally it is, the rechargeable battery is probably the best feature. You can drain so much play-time from it that its amazing and coupled with the fact that it recharges very very quickly then, you can use the player as much as you want.
The sound quality is also great but the earphones are a bit tacky, and keep slipping out of your ears (or mine anyway).
I recommend this over any other music devices I have bought.

Great little MD player

(5 out of 5) by J. Macdonald on Feb

I have just ordered my second of these little beauties (I want a backup). I have ownded a few MD players & recorders & this one performs very nicely when compared to the other, even though it's not the most up-to-date. It's slim, battery lasts for ages & (as always with MD) the sound quality is excellent (the main reason to avoid MP3 players).
The fact that it's not recordable is not a legitimate gripe as it clearly states that this is a player, not a recorder. Do you expect your portable CD player to record CDs?

Non recordable

If like me you are not able to afford to buy two minidisc devices one for playing and one for recording .You would be advised to read the specifications prior to buying this player. I have owned a minidisc player recorder for several years and as with the old audio tape enjoy putting together compilations. I find it remarkable that there is a minidisc device on the market that doesn't record.
