Amacom Baby comes up to expectations

I wanted a portable CDRW that I could use to take with me to a client site and use on a client PC/laptop. It also needed it to act as a backup device for my laptop following the intermittent failure of the onboard CDRW device.

The service from Amazon was as ever without fault and the device plugged into my XP driven laptop without a problem. I have USB1 ports but the speed of the device is greater than the on board CDRW (when it works!). I have to use the power cable (supplied) because of the USB1 but don't need to carry it with me if my client is supplying me with an USB2 port.

This is the second Amacom device that I have purchased and if over time, it performs as well as my 'flipdisk', then I will have had good value for money.
