Just the job

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jul 21, 2004
I was having a few problems with my CPU overheating and decided to give this fan a try. Has lowered the CPU idle temp by 4 degrees C and same at full load. As long as you have enough space in your case to fit it then I can highly recommend this fan.

Very cool and quiet

(5 out of 5) by A. Healing on Feb 19, 2004 (Ipswich, UK)
I'm impressed at how much air this fan pushes and the thermal sensing seems to work well to keep it quiet. It might not be quite as quiet as the zalman 120mm alternative but it is a lot cheaper!

Not as good as I expected

(2 out of 5) by Cheatin' Jockey on Sep 7, 2008 (Worcestershire)
My rear fan needed replacing due bearing failure so I thought this would be a good option, though I regret my choice now. Even at the lowest speed it's more noisy than the one with the bearing failure it was to replace and the cables are poorly thought out - the mainboard one is really long and the actual power one is really short.

I gave it 2 stars as it does as the literature describes but as someone that wanted a quiet product this misses the mark for me.

nice quiet fan

I have been using Antec fans for ages, and have never had one conk out on me. They are blissfully quiet and of a high build quality. I can't really vouch for the thermal sensor, but I guess its one of those things that you would only notice if it wasn't there.
