Good-buy and Goodbye!!
I received one of these players last Monday and was initially impressed with the quality of the picture, and the number of things it was capable of doing(especially considering the price). This was short lived though;I came in from work on Tuesday only to find that it no longer worked.

Toshiba Trauma
The unit arrived today. What excitement opening the box - and noting the "multi-region" sticker prominently across the top. Once open, however, disappointment sets in. There is no original English instruction manual - only a poor photocopy. But surely, there must be a treat when I hook it up? Alas no. I get it to display some menus, but then it refuses to display any picture at all - showing instead a mottled grey effect. This is my first electronics purchase from Amazon and I can't say I will be making another one soon.

Multi Region - whatever!
This DVD player plays region 1 or all region DVD's in black and white, with very poor quality. Can't believe it's dependent on my TV as my last DVD player (SONY) was fine... If anyone knows how to fix this would love to know

Brilliant!!!!!!!
After reading the reviews from other online shoppers who had purchased this DVD player I decided to give it a go and order one. I was amazed as the speed it arrived in, being delivered within 24 hours of submitting the purchase!
It was obvious on opening the box that Amazon have taken on board the comments of people reviewing the product on the website. I found an English instruction manual and a leaflet with contact numbers for Toshiba inside the box. The instruction book is easy to follow and straight to the point, as is the actual product simple to use, with beautiful picture and sound. As my first DVD player (apart from the laptop version previously used) I have found this excellent value for money and would recommend it as a best buy.

Gata a Toshiba and make your mates go green with envy
Toshiba has managed to not only create an elegant and highly user-friendly DVD player, but one that will exceed your expections in both performance and price.
The SD330 is useable straight from the box, so no thick manuals to read or complex connection diagrams to fathom. Simple controls on the player itself, (albeit the labeling under the buttoms is very small), along with the small joypad style cursor controller makes menu selection a breeze. Also of worthy of note, is the button layout and overal (hand)size of the remote control unit, which allows it to be clear in operation (button spacing and labels) while remaining unobtrusive.
I am using the Component Video output along with the optical audio output, connected into a Toshiba widescreen TV (36ZP38B),and the results are stunning, images with clear sharp egdes, deep colour (without being dark or overly vibrant), coupled with faultless Dolby Digital audio delivery.
The dawn of affordable Home cinema for all, has finally arrived thanks to devices like this, well done Toshiba.
