Absolutely excellent. Bass is EXTREMELY loud, and even with full bass settings for Windows, I have not heard any distortion. Behind both of the speakers on the headset are two small parts sticking out, which are part of a system defined by Phillips as Active Motion System, which, when switched on, dramatically increases the depth and clarity of bass by vibrating against the users head. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone, not just to gamers, as they work excellently with Music and DVDs also. The only flaw, which is rather small is the fact that, to avail of the active motion system, an AA battery is required, however there is a battery included with the pack and mine hasn't run out yet.
