Need more ports on your broadband? get this!

(5 out of 5) by Mr. D. Wilson on Nov 7, 2008 (England. UK)
As the other review says, you really cant go wrong with these blue metal units. Much nicer than the plastic Tupperware boxes you get nowadays. This is good solid little piece of kit, just like the larger blue metal versions. This is a great little hub if you want to add a few extra wired computers to your broadband hub. Or perhaps you want to do a bit of multi player gaming. I have a Mac, PC, and my freeview box, all going through this and into my BT home hub. Remember that if used to connect to a broadband router, then you need to use one of the 5 ports for that. Led's on each port show whats going on, giving a reassuring flash. About the size of a deck of cards and powered by a small plug in adapter. Good clear instructions, and a name you can trust.

Industrial quality, for the home user. I wish everything else was built this well.

Excellent, small switch

(5 out of 5) by Dominic Tristram on Feb 17, 2008 (Bath, UK)
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Five switched 10/100 Ethernet ports in the usual Netgear pro-range good looking, blue metal case. Runs cool and silent, and can be wall mounted if desired. You can never go wrong with the Netgear blue metal boxes when it comes to networking equipment.

It just works!

I bought this switch as I had used all the available ports on my router. I just plugged it in and it worked.

Easy!

Great product.

Very Good product

Very good product, handy in work place. The adaptor is too big, takes a lot of space

Perfect

(5 out of 5) by Animallover on May 23, 2009 (Nottingham, UK)
This box is so much smaller than I imagined and just plain nice to look at! I'm using this connected to a Max Value 85 Mbps Home Plug electrical mains network extender to connect a Samsung HDTV (with internet connectivity) and an Xbox. The only slightly odd thing is that the unit doesn't have a clean 'front'; the power adaptor is at one end and the ports on the other side.
