I've had this camera for about a year now. I got it primarily because of the 10x zoom. It didn't disappoint in that respect. It is surprisingly slow when taking pictures though - a big drawback at parties or sporting events. Recently in the US and took pictures of the skyscrapers. I was surprised to see how much warping there was on the periphery of the picture - the skyscrapers on the edges had noticeable slants compared to the centre.
I have got some great shots with this camera but i suppose no camera is perfect for every situation.

Purchased C750 about 6 months ago. It was recommended to me by some one who knows a bit about cameras.(" Can't go wrong with Olympus" ) At first I was a little daunted by all the menus and sub-menus but these are soon mastered. Can be used as a straight forward point and shoot camera or you can have fun and experiment with all the manual functions.
I have since bought a larger memory card ( recommend at least 128mb ) a tripod (essential for full zoom shots)and a spare set of batteries ( can be a little battery hungery )
The camera is a perfect size too, not one of these tiny, fiddley ones.
Over-all I would highly recommend this camera for it's quality of pictures, it's versitility and value for money and as the title says " so simple even I can use it !!

very heavy bulky clumsy. the pics taken where very good quality zoom lens is impressive. the shutter speed is pathetic. its so slow taking pics of moving subjects by the time the camera has decided to take the pic the subject has passed and your left with nothing on the camera. i got this camera from argos had it for one day got my money back. very disapointed

I own three digital cameras and since retiring from full-time employment decided to buy yet another, but better. I searched the internet for several months reading reviews and talking to dealers, ending up with a choice of two, a Minolta Dimage and the Olympus C750 which I purchased from Amazon because the price was right, they had all the extras and could deliver within seven days.
I made the right choice and am pleased with my purchase, the camera is everthing the manufacturer says about it. There are one or two minor irritations when using the camera. From 'Standby' to ready is very slow and I have problems with the various buttons due to my arthritic thumbs, also it is essential to buy a tripod to support the camera when using maximum zoom. It is battery hungry, I keep two spare sets with me at all times, one set on charge in my car and one ready. The Camedia Software is First Class and so easy to use. The handbook which Olympus supply is clear and concise.
Everything taken into account the C750 is extremely good value for the meagre price.
I'm certain if you buy this camera, you will not be dissapointed.

As a keen 35mm user this was my first digital camera and now I wish I'd converted to digital sooner..
The C750 is easy to use straight out of the box but it has loads of extra features to play with. The build quality of the camera is very good and the picture quality is excellent too.
I have bought a 128mb xD card and a spare set of rechargeable batteries to make sure I don't miss any photos.
The only downside I could find with this camera is the shutter delay - it is a bit slow. This takes a bit of getting used to after having used a 35mm camera and as a result I have missed a few action shots and even close ups when the subject has moved. I think that will take a bit of getting used to. In all other respects it is an excellent choice.
