(3 out of 5) by paul on May 23, 2004 (uk)very heavy bulky clumsy. the pics taken where very good quality zoom lens is impressive. the shutter speed is pathetic. its so slow taking pics of moving subjects by the time the camera has decided to take the pic the subject has passed and your left with nothing on the camera. i got this camera from argos had it for one day got my money back. very disapointed

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 13, 2005I've had this camera for about a year now. I got it primarily because of the 10x zoom. It didn't disappoint in that respect. It is surprisingly slow when taking pictures though - a big drawback at parties or sporting events. Recently in the US and took pictures of the skyscrapers. I was surprised to see how much warping there was on the periphery of the picture - the skyscrapers on the edges had noticeable slants compared to the centre.
I have got some great shots with this camera but i suppose no camera is perfect for every situation.
