Olympus C750 camera, Don't order from Amazon
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Oct 9, 2003Ordered Olympus C750 + 256 m xD card in early september. Received
memory two weeks later. 25th of november is the next possible delivery date for the camera. The only explanation I have received is " well I am sorry sir but you will just have to wait or cancel the order". Why do amazon advertise equipment if they can't deliver. Foolish if you ask me! Maybe Santa might drop it into Amazon on his way over. Lets say this camera was a 40th wedding annaversary gift for my parents for the 10th of October.
I will go to Argos next time.

Delivery Problems

" 1 to 2 weeks delivery" and having no problems before with many
transactions.My order was processed and delivery was estimated
to be "Oct 2 to Oct 10".On the 10th My Account stated :-
"delivery estimate 7 Nov to 21 Nov " When I tried to cancel,My
Account stated , on the same page, "Dispatching SoonWe are preparing these items for dispatchand and can no longer change delivery or payment options" ( ie. I cannot cancel my order )
I would class this as sharp practice. If the camera is in stock
I should not have to wait more than 5 weeks. If it's not in stock
I should be able to cancel my order .

Value for money and Excellent output
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 12, 2004i bought the camedia 750 few days back . good perfomance .The out put is excellent .A/S/M and MY mode features gives you the freedom of playing around with aperture and shutter speeds and provides SLR like output.It's a GOOD buy -Value for money .

Worth the wait
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Oct 17, 2003I ordered my C750 from Jessops and had to wait 10 weeks, so it's not only Amazon which has problems. It is Olympus who are to blame, but it really is worth the wait. Flexible with loads of options and excellent picture quality.
