perfect sound
i brought it for the music system and surround sound, used the movie setting seldomly because my focus on this wasn't it's dvd capability (which happens to be multi region but you need to buy a modified scart lead so the picture shows in colour)
the sound is crystal clear even if you turn the volume upto full blast, no distortion comes from any of the speakers
the one thing it lacks and i hated, was that you can't repeat one song, it would repeat the whole album only, so you'd need keep the remote handy so you could keep pressing back, if you wanted to hear that track over and over again
it has multiple customisation settings for changing the ambiance, but all those technicalities went over my head
have since updated the main system but because i loved the sound so much, brought the basic unit (without dvd selector) and added 6 more speakers to use in my bedroom
now due to the modding, i can't turn this up past the halfway mark because the earth starts to shake
it should've lost a point for the repeat flaw, but it gained it back due to being able to maximise the bass with the digital sub woofer button
