First Digital Camera

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Aug

As the title would suggest this is my first digital camera and so far it has been an entirely pleasant experience.
The camera is very easy to use and the picture quality is excellent.
Comes with a 32M SD card, which is more than most I looked at but this still only store 14 shots on the best resolution (which I have used most of the time).
The camera is quite small , if a little chunky and fits quite easily into my pocket. It comes with a case, which may not seem much but is unusual even at this price.
Best points, it's simplicity and quality of shot.
Worst point, there seems to be a small delay between pressing the button and the picture tasking. Having spoken to a number of friends apparantly this happens with most digital cameras. I will just have to get used to it.
Overall I am very happy with the camera and I am now taking picture of all sorts of strange things when I would never have bothered if I had the expense of film and developing.

SAMSUNG DIGIMAX V4

Pure quality camera. Having scoured the magazines for the best sub £400 cameras, seemed the Digimax V4 was consistently one of the best. In terms of quality it blows my brothers Fujifilm Finepix 410 away. So many features and nice touches and all the while user friendly, recommended!!! U wont be disappointed!!

Samsung Digimax V4 Digital Camera

(5 out of 5) by ALLPOWERCOMPUTERS CO UK on Sep

I had a Ricoh RDC-2E Digital Camera before the Digimax V4 and wanted to upgrade to a better camera. Having looked around at other Manufacturer's Models nothing seemed to compare to the Digimax.
I've only had it a week and I cannot believe how easy it is to use. The Menu is clear and concise and the capabilities of the zoom and macro settings are unbelievable.
The Camera is supplied with a 32MB SD Card which gets you well on the way and there is always of opportunity to upgrade to 64MB, 128MB or 256MB SD Card.
I cannot fault this Camera at all. Being able to add your voice to the photographs you have taken is excellent. Saves you going through your photographs and wondering where they were taken like you do when you have a 35mm Film developed!
Amazon offered the best price on the Market and I don't think anyone would be disappointed when buying this camera.

Samsung Digimax V4

Being fairly new to the murky world of digital photography I wanted a camara that was both user friendly and feature rich. The V4 was an excellent choice. It's compact and looks very good. Within 30 mins I was navigating the menus with ease and was able to get to grips with the basics of taking pictures, recording audio and video clips and interfacing with my PC using the software provided. The layout of the manual is ideal, although a lot of the basic functionality is self-explanatory. Picture quality is superb and the inclusion of a 32Mb memory card was a welcome surprise.
Great product at a reasonable price.

Great Value, Great quality images

I have only had the V4 for 24 hours and I am already blown away by the excellent all round package it offers. Superb quality images are backed by a user friendly menu system and real ease of use. Build quality is high and all the buttons are close to hand. You get a nice case and MGI photosuite thrown in. A rechangable battery would have been a nice addition but at this price you cant really moan, you will also need to buy a bigger memory card as you can only squeeze 11 pictures on the supplied 32 meg card at the 2272x1702 setting and only 2 pictures if you use the tiff format!. This is a camera that can be used by a complete beginner thanks to its "easy" setting or by some one wanting to upgrade and use all its manual setting. If you are after a good value 4 megapixel camera you really cant go wrong with the V4.
