problems

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jun 20, 2005
ive had this minidisc for quite a while now but i find that i can only hold 19 songs. Surely that isnt right! Also when i try and record after the songs which are already recorded onto the minidisc it says sorry and thats it. I cant record after what im already recording, although it let me before. Personally i dont like it because of the problems i have had.

Sony MZ-R410

I bought an ex-display model of this MiniDisc recorder. I have never used one before this.
SO far I have figured out pretty much all the features. It is very straightforward to use.

I love the long play modes. I have it set to the longest play. As far as I'm concerned, sound degradation is minimal. That's over 5 hours worth of play on one MD.

I'm using a normal line in connector to record with. Sound quality is still great.

The automatic record level is good, but is a little too low for my liking.

The 3 sound modes are excellent.

An added bonus is that Gameboy colour and GBA power adaptors work perfectly with the unit.

Once I figured out the basic functions I found it to be easy to use and a pleasure to listen to.

MZ-R410 Minidisc Player

(4 out of 5) by JP Quinn on Jun 22, 2004 (Dungannon, Tyrone United Kingdom)
Excellent little player, with an unbelieveable battery life! Almost 48hrs with a single AA battery. Unfortunately not everyone has optical ports on their hi-fi and computer so I had to buy a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack lead to record onto disk. The only gripe is that the recording to disk takes a long time compared to other minidiscs(ones with USB or firewire)/ media.
