Excellent!
This minidisc player is great value for money and is the cheapest it can be found anywhere (i have looked) with free delivery. It is small and light and very easy to use, it looks pretty good too! There are full instructions for both the player and the CDrom. The program (sonic stage)is very good, it took about 3 minutes to record an album using LP4, which did not show any decrease in sound quality. Using LP4, I managed to record 7 CD albums onto one 80 minute minidisc, which was brilliant, as I was expecting 2 or 3. It is quicker to record from downloaded files than a CD, but both are very fast. The MD player came with a good quality leather case, a charging cradle (which does not look like it does in the picture!), a USB cable and an optical cable which I have not bothered to use as it is easier to just put the CDs into the computer and use the program. It is also a lot easier to connect the player to the computer to edit, rather than using the buttons on the MD itelf. This is a very good player, with a lot of useful features and I would recommend it to anyone.

Just the right temperature.
Having owned two mini disc players ( this model being my third ) this one has been the best. I never leave the house without it.
My first minidisc player was the loudest yet as I like loud music it used to hurt after an hour!! This one is just about the right temperature if you get my meaning. It drowns all the interfering idiotic noises which ruin you pleasure, and not that loud you have to put it down for fear of going deaf!! I know there are sound control levels on minidiscs but they just annoy me and I turn them off!!
The minidisc software is great when you get the hang of it and you can get over two hours onto each 80 min minidisc, and it records 2 hours in around 5 or 10 minutes, as well as being able to type the names of the songs onto your pc which then transfer to your minidisc so no annoying typing while your song is playing!!
Mines the blue one and is very atractive and well worth the money ( seeing as i bought mine at a higher price ).
They are a costly item this one you will not be dissapointed with, I should know because I'm not!!

MUSICIANS BEWARE
I recently bought a net MD for the sole purpose of recording live rehearsals with my band and (mistakenly) thought I could then easily and conveniently convert them to mp3's / burn cd's / e-mail them to the rest of the band, with this exicting new Net MD technology. However, in case you don't know - YOU CANNOT UPLOAD LIVE RECORDINGS TO YOUR PC with the USB port on the NET MD and the software provided - and there seems to be no crack available.
I'm sure for some people these are great machines, but if you are buying for the above purpose, 'NET MD'is not all that it appears to be on the surface!

Minidisc At It's Best!!!
I have had 3 Minidisc player and i found that the MZN701 is the best one i've seen. It not only plays your usual minidiscs, but it also has the new Net Minidisc option. The free software is easy to install and easy to use. The minidisc player itself is pprobably one of sony's nicest lookin players, and comes in the option of blue or silver. It comes with a free usb cable to connect it to your pc. Using the net minidisc option can mean u will b able to fit a lot of music onto one minidisc and the MDLP 4 option isnt only a space saver it doesnt give a noticeable decrease in quality of the sound. It also comes with a cradle, control cylinder and a carry pouch and is very very worth your money. So if you are a person looking for a minidisc player look no further than the MZN701.

Outstanding!
Well i was a bit cautious towards gettin this because of the supposed 1.2mW amplitude of the output. However, this isnt true, its plently loud and the player is packed with great features. The NetMD feature is great and the playback is brill. I couldn't recommend a better player for the price.
