highly useful
When i bought this, it was recommended through the fuji manual for my finepix 2800 digital camera, and so i thought necessary to buy. Good choice, it is cheaper than replacing or recharging batteries when uploading information, but also for taking pictures or film when near a power point, without depleting the batteries. On their own the batteries run out relatively quickly and so this is a must for cost saving, but also the annoyance of constantly having to replace or recharge the batteries.

Does the job...
The adapter keeps the camera going indoors without running out the battery. My only criticism was that I didn't know if it was working until I tried using it when my camera had no batteries in it. There is no power light on the power supply and no indicator light on the camera to indicate where it was receiving its power from.
It does the job but I think it a little expensive.

Digital Consumption
A very good power adaptor for 5 volt Fuji Digi Cams, although it is a tad over priced for what it is. I use it with the S7000 and have had it on for 2 hours without the transformer even getting warm. I would recommend it, but don't pay a premium if you can avoid it. I am sure Uniross do a multi-adaptor that does essentially the same job with more uses for £10 less, but then Fuji will not uphold you camera's warranty if you blow your camera up.

keps going & going & going
well we wish the batterys did like in the adverts.but they don't so the toy rabbit falls of the cliff for me.
..my nice shiny finepix S9600 luvs batteries mmmm tasty, i put a micro drive in it and it ate a set of 4AA x 2800 batteries in no time as it has to be running all the time, so that got sold in favour of big 2 gig XD chips which have plummeted in price (even on Amazon) that solved battery staying power.
As said before on other reviews a bit pricy but does not null & void warrenty.
As for use well i just strap a long extension lead on to a bag and put the power unit in it for extended mobility even gets out into my garden, and can power my flash at the same time (the 9600 can use a remote flash gun).
So worth every penny as it will last years and longer than those cheap multi adapters do.
I can click away for hours....
