This two way radio, has very good reception and is easy to use.
It is lightweight and can be fitted into the pocket.
Having had it switched on and in use, for some 8 hours at a recent Motorsport event, the batteries never went flat and the reception was maintained throughout the day, with clear and precise accuracy.
The only drawback that I found with this unit, was, while it received transmissions from other radioes with sub-channels, it could not communicate with them, as it has no sub-Channel capability, built into the unit.
At maximum range, in open terrain, this unit is Ideal, but in built up areas, or in hilly terrain, the reception can become distorted, and break up.
