Perfect if you don't want to do PC editing
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 8, 2003The craze is all for digital camcorders at the moment, but if you are on a tight budget and you are not fussed about editing on your PC, then I strongly recommend this Panasonic model.
You get quality optics with a 22x optical zoom lens (most digital camcorders only have 10x) good build quality and decent image quality. The VHS-C option means that you get a camcorder that is simple to use in conjunction with a VCR, but not as bulky as older VHS models.
It's also half the price of an entry level digital model. What are you waiting for?
