No problems with this

I am very pleased with this drive. I had no problems installing it as an addition to the DVD-ROM drive I already had, despite never having taken the case off a PC before. Burns cds brilliantly with the full Nero software supplied - no coasters yet! I have also recently updated the firmware via the BenQ website with no problems. I was torn between buying this and the 52x LiteOn (they were a similar price then) but am glad I plumped for the BenQ.

not as easy at it seemed

Was lead to believe by decription, it would be easy to install. I did not find this to be the case at all. In fact instructions were not that clear for someone like myself unfamiliar with the inards of a computer. I eventually had to get professional assistance to install the item. This said, the item now installed is very good. I use it lots.
