Very good headphones

(5 out of 5) by BIG Dave on Mar 27, 2005 (Wales)
Regardless of what other people say I find these headphones are excellent and if you think they fall out in exercise then you must have small ears or something because I go on bike rides down bumpy welsh lanes and they dont fall out of my ears and as for the sound quality that's excellent aswell with a suitable bass boost that isn't too much. All in all a good product

Fantastic!

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Aug 9, 2004
This product does not require a long review. These headphones are quite simply outstanding. The sound quality in my opinion is excellent. They are easily fitted and stay in position even with extensive moving around. For less than £10 they are a first class buy. If you have any doubts I can assure you that these are probably one of the best pairs of headphones on the market. Absolutley outstanding!

Worth the money

(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Mar 10, 2006
I bought these headphones as i run regularly and needed some headphones that would stay in my ears nicely.
Although they are quite annoying to put into your ear, once in, they stay in, which is what i wanted them for.
For everyday use, I still prefer my original i-pod headphones but for excersise these are excellent.
Good sound quality, better than most cheap headphones.
Recommended if you want to use them for excersise, otherwise find something else.

Quite good sound bad Life span

(2 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 12, 2005
Well i have now owned 3 pairs of these head phones and all 3 have reached the bin through the same fault after about the same amount of time.

After about 6 months of use one of the ear phones stops working usually the right ear phone. i thought maybe my problem was just unlucky but when i read more reviews i found alot of people are having this problem. Then on the 3rd pair the anti tangle device actually split my wires when i did it up.

I would say stay away from this product i have just bought a pair of philips sports earphones and they are cheaper with better quality sound, although i don't know the life span yet.

Best bang for buck

(4 out of 5) by daveo_78 on May 31, 2007 (UK)
I'm not biased (well I am). Sony make the best audio hardware-period.

I have used these budget 'phones for 4 years now, and have stuck by them with every new purchase. I use them for running and cycling and in the gym.

Good points:
1. Noise blocking: treadmill thump is more like a patter of rain. Minimal wind guff when cycling, and can still hear traffic approacing from behind (keep your eyes open for front as that's almost silent).
2. Good sound: my player is on level 15/30 when running and about 18/30 cycling and get reasonable sound transmission. Actually manage to make my Sony NW-407 sound better.
3. Nice fit-I have HUGE ears so other in ear ones just dont sit right and hurt after a bit. These are VERY comfortable. Hold fast and dont move around - however when doing static CV stuff the sound disappears once full of sweat!!!
4. Low power drain. My MP3 player floats around it's quoted battery life, hence proving these bad boys arent power hungry.
5. Chunky robust cables to minimise snag damage (the chunkiest I have seen on any headphones I have tried-and hence confidence in their longevity for my purpose)

Bad:
Cables always break inside after about 9 months (I'm a very heavy user - about 2-3 hours per day of vigorous activity-but am careful). But this is also good because the usually break within the warranty.

All in all I would say what are you waiting for - just buy them. At about a tenner from amazon you cant go wrong.
