Another excellent product by Sony these minidiscs are truly top quality. Minidiscs are a very affordable media and these minidiscs go to show that cheap prices don't mean poor sound quality- that is not true; with cd quality sound in normal recording and only a slight difference with the longer recording modes lp2 and lp4. If you were thinking that there is no difference between Sony minidiscs and other brands then think again- the Sony's don't skip a beat, however active you are! These minidiscs are top quality and you will not switch to another brand after you've heard these wonders perform! With a built in shock absorbing mechanism these certainly appeal. The only downside is that there are two versions of minidiscs made by Sony- the 74 minute ones and the 80 minute ones. While you think there is hardly any difference between these two the 6 minute difference in normal recording equates to a 30 minute difference in long play mode. So if you have to squeeze in that extra half an hour choose those but if your happy with these then don't hesitate to buy. To sum-up:
1)Brilliant sound quality in normal recording that only very slightly deteriorates with the longer recording modes.
2)Built in shock absorbing mechanism-they never skip a beat!
3)Excellent build quality as you would expect from Sony, a sturdy case is supplied for each minidisc.
And finally these minidiscs are color-coded so no more wasting time searching through each minidisc searching for that favourite track if you're too lazy to label-you'll soon be able to refer to your music quickly by color!
Go on, get them.

Go on, get them. id also like to say that These minidiscs offer great sound quality even when recorded in long play. The different colours not only make them cuter(!) they also make it much easier to identify which minidisc it is, and you can even colour code different genres of music! If you're just recording in normal play then the 80 minute versions would be slightly better especially for compilation cd's with 18+ tracks, although in LP4 I've managed to fit over 5 albums on one of these little beauties.
They're very robust to transport and can easily handle being thrown around in a bag. I've used them with my Sony MZ N510 Blue, and even with it strapped to my arm using a punchbag I've not had the slightest hint of a skip.
I would definitely recommend them to any minidisc user. another point: These Sony MiniDisc's are brilliant! Well as brilliant as Minidisc's can be. They look wicked and come in a nice case to carry them about in. The recording quality is top quality too, compared to other cheap Minidisc's you can tell that they are top of the range. SO GO AND GET THEM!

When people say Sony are one of the best quality manufacturers around, believe the hype. These MiniDiscs are great quality, coming in a great set of colours.

These Sony MiniDisc's are brilliant! Well as brilliant as Minidisc's can be. They look wicked and come in a nice case to carry them about in. The recording quality is top quality too, compared to other cheap Minidisc's you can tell that they are top of the range.
All in all they are easily the best Minidisc's i own, and i own hundreds!
