A great start
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on May 16, 2003This camera has every thing that you need from a digital camera,1.3mega pixles a LCD screen, six different quality settings, built in 8mb memory, a slot for a memory stick, and a range of different functions, and it films silent video, USB connection, and silent video out, for use as a webcam.u can also disply your pictures on the tv. The only downside to this camera is that it does use up the batteries very quickly and in poor light there is a long delay before the picture is taken.
This is deffinatly a great camera for any one who is just starting out taking digital photos. but not to good for any one who is more advanced. It does come with some very good editing software as well.

Don't buy this camera

The lens is sopoor that picture quality is low even on the highest resolutions. However, the worst thing is the battery life. I have never managed more that 11 pictures out of a set of batteries, even using Duracell Extras, and using the screen reduces that down to 2 or 3 pics. I sent the camera back to Konica; their response was that there were no problems. Save your money plus a few more quid (which you'll save on not buying batteries every 10 minutes) and get something better.

(4 out of 5) by Irene McGough on Nov 21, 2003 (UK)Good quality at a good price. I would prefer an optical zoom and more megapixels but at the price it is excellent. I previously boughtr a Trust Digital Camera supposed to be up to 3million megapixels and it was not as good as this one. Memory can be added and it works best with high powered rechargeable batteries.

Great starter camera

This was a good camera two or three years ago.

I was just doing a search to find out it's features (lost the manual), and noticed it's for sale from £74+ from various sellers. What a joke. I wouldn't pay more than 20 or 30 now.
