I really wanted this to listen to Test Match Special on Radio 4 long wave but alas no LW function. That said it is a very good quality sound on FM and the earphones are good enough.

I wanted a small radio and read the numerous reviews on the sony which almost without exeption were complementary. I have used users reviews before to help me decide if a product is for me and matches my needs.
All that has been said about the radio, clarity of sound, value for money I would agree with and would rate it a 5 star product.

Tiny, but with a chunky feel. Excellent sound quality and power. Stereo is particulary good with 'Mega Bass'. Be aware that it takes 1 x AAA battery, and can use up cheap ones fairly rapidly so I would recommend buying a set of rechargeables. The back is fitted with a strong metal spring clip so it should never fall off clothing.

I use this when i'm at the local football club to keep up with my favourite team on the radio.

Ideal size and get good use out of it. picks up signal well and a great price.

if you need a cheap decent pocket radio, this one is pretty good. It gets excellent reception, hiss-less, and has a finite tuner, so picks up most stations, batteries last about 6 weeks, using for 2/3 hours a day.
only downside is fiddly on/off bottom, on top left which has no raised bit to get purchase on, so that scores it 9 out of 10.
