Needed a small radio for work and this one definately impressed me to other small radios you can buy,the size is great to put in your pocket or clip to your belt and it weighs nothing at all,the sound is umbelievable especially with the MEGA BASS button which you can choose to give it that extra boom,reception is top notch with no lose at all when moving about,if you need a small radio this if definately the one to buy 10/10

Right, so this radio does not bear a screen, sleep timer or a clock or any of the fancy features.

However, they may look handy but realistically all they do is swallow up your batteries. I first saw this player in a local co-op electrical shop for £28.99. My first impression was good. but then i thought can I trust sony to deliver? Is £28.99 enough for a decent portable radio. Finally, I decided to buy it. And after 6 months of use, I cannot understand why i ever hesitated to get it in the first place.

It's fantastic! The size does not affect the reception, on both bands its great. The megabass function is great too. Money well spent in my opinion.

i needed a light portable radio to walking to work... this is the most ideal thing you will find... its extremely light small and has a super connection. i live in the sticks and i can still pick up all my favorite radio channels... there amazing...

Without exaggeration - when I unpacked this little item I thought that it couldn't possibly be much good: It was as light, and almost as small, as an empty box of matches - but the quality of reception is amazing. I have two other, mini radios, neither of which can receive much inside the house. But this little radio tuned in perfectly, without any hint of phasing or lost signal as I moved from room to room. As for outside - well, obviously, there is no problem at all.
The unit comes with a useful, integral belt or pocket clip which is just as well as it's so small and light, it might get lost if unconnected to the earphones.
The tuning slider is firm and doesn't slip and although this isn't a digital receiver, there appears to be no problem with tuning.
The earpieces which come with it are of good quality, although personally I've never liked that sort of unit, so I've ordered some Sony MDR-W08L Headphones which will suit me better.
All-in-all - I thoroughly recommend this little radio.

This is a superb radio, excellent quality product and easy to carry. The size does not affect the overall quality of the reception............ superb
