On recieving my system from Amazon at an unbelievably fast rate, ordered on the sunday recieved on the tuesday, the speakers where straight out and hooked straight up, they are superb, allowing you to sit back and enjot the full range of dynamic sound 188watt subwoofer!!!! and satelites for this price is remarkable, thunderous bass, and clear, silky-smooth high and mid frequencies, great for bass, dvd surround, music play back!, i was not sure whether to get the 5.1 system over this one, i went for this as i like bass, but im amazed at the quality of other sounds it gives out. its great.

Stunning

[...]From the day these arrived some 2 or 3 months ago now I have never ceased to be amazed by this speaker system. The box is pretty huge and will break your back lugging into your desired location, but once these are set up you will know exactly why you spent the money.

These speakers excel on all material. Playing music, you can keep on turning the volume up and up and the speakers just keep going, producing perfectly clear mid-high sound from the satellites and powerful bass from the sub. On DVDs the whole range of sounds are delivered with great impact and exactly as they should be, from huge explosions down to distant background sounds. My previous speakers were completely blown away [...].

The THX certification of these speakers is well deserved, and I have yet to hear them strain on any type of music, or DVD for that matter. Even at some quarter volume the power of these things is breathtaking.

One minor gripe would be that at low volume the bass can seem a bit boomy. Turn the volume up a little, though, and everything is perfectly balanced.

If you're considering buying these speakers, just do it, you'll never look back.

(Note: I have tried these speakers on a number of PCs and found them to perform best with an SBLive! 5.1 sound card or better)
