Great starter kit!!

The camera is easy to use with all the functions an SLR beginner or professional might want from fully automatic to fully programmable.
As the camera comes supplied with both the short range wide lens and the telephoto zoom up to 300mm you instantly have a great scope for useage. I took mine to the Peruvian rainforest while working for a year and grabbed beautiful scenics and great up close and personal shots of the wildlife from both near and far (it has a good in built close range function that can be easily improved further with a +4 close up ring).
I have thus far had no problems with the kit after a year and a half of use.
