Canon image stabilising binoculars.

(4 out of 5) by keith caldwell on Jun 15, 2003 (England)
These binoculars are a boon for anyone who has trouble in getting a stable image due to handshake or who is viewing from a moving platform such as a boat.

Canon are famous for their stabilised camera lenes & the same technology is used in these binoculars. The effect can be switched off but once used you will never do this as the results are dramatic.

The binoculars are slightly larger in order to accomodate the stabilising mechanism but are easy to handle & comfortable to use.

The clarity of the image is outstanding & allows the user to study detail in a way which ordinary binoculars would not. They are ideal for bird watching & sports & similar pursuits. There is a selection of different powers available in this range from Canon to suit every need but this model is the most affordable & the smallest.

Once you have used this type of binocular all the other ordinary types will never seem as good again - so be warned!
