They eliminate loss of focus through shaking noticed mostly on real close ups. Try them in a shop first even when your arm is jogged by another person the stay true to focus!!! Would be perfect for sports!! Like cricket with a fixed point of focus.
Enjoy these binoculars even when star gazing but you need to get out of the city to see the real benifit of them. Enjoy.
