(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on May 19, 2003I bought this to play DVD's that my Playstation 2 had problems with. Well what can I say - it played them all without a glitch. A scart cable is needed, but apart from that it's very easy to set up and extremely quiet. Five stars for quality and value - you won't go wrong!

it gives a very clear / sharp picture and sound, has may features while very easy to use.
i would recommend it to any one, i think its the best dvd player at this price, i personally would have payed alot more for it had i known it was this good. and it really does play
DVD/DVD+r/DVD+RW/vcd/SVCD/cds/CDR/CDRW/mp3s, is there any other player that plays all these at this price and does it well!! i have not see one, and its a good make.
