Well, despite my intial concern about buying a product from a company I have never heard of vs buying well known brand (e.g. Sony), I am very impressed with this player. It's a piece of cake to use, seems to be a very good build quality, and comes with all kinds of features you would not normally expect from a player in this price range (e.g. rechargable batteries, remote control device, very good backlit 4 line screen). I have also heard stories about huge pregnant pauses between tracks on some CD/MP3 devices, but there is no such issue with this player. In fact it always continues playing from where you last left it - a pretty useful feature when you've got about 15 albums on a CD. It can handle all bitrates, and a variety of formats (e.g. MP3 & WMA).
I've not had it long enough to know how long it will last the test of time, but so far so good.
UPDATE: I thought it only right to update you all on this product. Unfortunately it stopped working after a couple of years, and has since been despatched to MP3 heaven. Good while it lasted, which was sadly not long enough. I'm strictly solid state these days

This is a quality piece of kit from a company few of us will have heard of. Do not worry as this is as good as any I've used. The clear and backlit four-line display is superb for navigating through the many options and the 150 songs you'll get on a disc. The twelve CD memory allows you to bookmark all of your favourite tracks on 12 discs, while the handy remote control is useful for earmarking songs and quick navigation. Most importantly, the sound quality is excellent, while the unit works quickly without the massive pauses usually present in most MP3 CD players. The player also comes with excellent rechargeable batteries that last for ages.
In all, this is an excellent player that has surpassed all of my expectations. Take my advice and enjoy having all of your music collection on a few discs in superb quality sound.
