Fantistic and Amazing in one small package

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Apr 29, 2004
I have a 5.1 system in my bedroom for my PS2 and a 2.1 hooked up to my newcomputer but i still needed some travel speakers that have decent power. Iwas fed up of takin my old 2 piece speakers with the massive adapterbecause of the size, weight, lack of decent sound/volume/bass and the lacoof battery or if there is too short use. I found them cheaper elsewherefor £40 but even if you pay more there worth it. The sound fills any room.Distortion free (even on dodgy mp3's) and amazing bass for the unit. I useit with my current mp3 player (iPod on the way off amazon soon) and i usethem at school in my 6th form common room and the whole room is grooving(size of 2 normal classrooms)
I would recomend them to everyone, theprice is worth it for these innovative little beauties. The carry case, adapter and euopean adapter and 35 hour playback on batteries is anothercool part to this brilliant all round package. The best part is the wideeffect. It really is a brillian feature. Both speakers are close to eachother so normally you can tell with direct sound. Place them a metre awayand switch the mode onto wide effect and it simply is sheer class the wayit works. They really do seem like they are 2-4metres wide apart. Wellworth the investment

these speakers are incredible! i saw loads of rave reviews about them and thought they cant be that good but they should be quite good...... THEY ARE THAT GOOD! very small, very loud and they do actually have bass(surprising for travel speakers) mains adaptor is handy and the european adaptor is a very good accesory, which comes in the package. these speakers are so amazingly good. highly reccomended.

Great things really do come in small packages!

Pretty simple really - these are quite outsatnding! I've used them extensively with both my laptop, where they far exceed the sound quality, and volume, of the majority of the onboard kit, and with my mini-disk player, where they give you a very small, very portable sound system which can generate a sound which you wouldn't think possible from it's size. I'd looked at some other kit before going for these, and I'm certainly not disappointed with my choice. Would I recommend them? Yes - and I already have, and friends are equally impressed.

Rock n Roll 2 go

(4 out of 5) by Chris Ingram on Nov 6, 2002 (Lincolnshire, England, UK)
A cracking good small and portable speaker system. Purchased to use with my equally cracking iPOD MP3 Player (also purchased from Amazon). The speaker system is lightweight and comes will a kool carry-case. The batteries last well - but I suggest you always carry a spare set too ! Dont expect earth shaking base - get a sub woofer too if you need it deep. Highly recommended. Great to take on holiday to France ! -- iPOD on the beach with ear-pods, then connect to the speaker system back in the Hotel. Happy listening on the move.

Still small but great product

(5 out of 5) by Andrew on Sep 15, 2003 (Birmingham United Kingdom)
I was looking for some travel speakers to go with my IPOD and tossed up between the Sony SRS-T55 and SRS-T70 before finding this product. I was about to buy the Sony SRS-T70 when I went into a shop and actually heard these speakers next to the sony one's. The SRS-T55 speakers just looked and felt like they would break in seconds so that rulled them out. I must say that I think the SRS-T70's have a cleaner sound than this unit but there was no real volume to them compared with these speakers. The 3d effect on these is nice and the fact that it comes with a carry case and external charger standard make it stand way out from the pack. The fact that there is a grill missing on the speakers is a bit of a worry also but otherwise great for what they are. DON'T EXPECT THIS TO REPLACE A SMALL STEREO UNIT FOR YOUR ROOM THOUGH.
