I recently bought my self one of these Philips MC-90's and haven't looked back since.
I admit it I am a bit of a scrooge, but hey I am also a poor student so I am justified! I try and make sure that I am getting the best I can for my money, and that is what I seem to have done here. The sound quality is great and it is powerfull too. When I saw it "only" had a 2x25W output, I was cautious, however, it is really loud.
The thing that really sold it for me was the fact that it had CD-R ( it records CD for anyone who doesn't understand). It can record at double spead...
I am going on here a bit.... I'm sorry, but to cut a long story short, my advice would be to get iy NOW!

I recently bought this hifi from amazon. I am really very pleased with it. the sound quality of the cd's is ace and there is a really cool blue light radiating from the set as it sits on my shelf. it's a nice light compact size, but produces alot of sound for only 2x25 speakers.
the only slight annoyance is that the cd copier only accepts philips own cdrw's, but this is no biggy.
