After being dissapointed with previous radio clock alarms I wanted one which was simple to set up and operate and that gave a very clear display of the alarm times, too many times have I overlay because I 'thought' I had set the Alarm.
the AJ3050 is simple to operate, well made and has a number of neat functions that will meet the needs of all.
best feature is the clear time and alarm settings it even talks to you to tell you that the alarm is set, how cool is that !

After buying this Phillips clock radio, i feel that i have brought wisely. This is a brilliant clock radio. Although it is fairly epensive than other clock radios, you get your moneys worth out of it. It has many good features. It talks to you whenever you re doing something to it like turning the alarm on hich is great. This is also one of the first clock radios that i have seen that can be powered just by using batteries, but it also comes with a mains adaptor which you can use. It is easy to use compared to others and looks really good. I have no complaints about it, thats why i think it is a great buy!

If you want something that is simple to use, reliable and looks cute then this is perfect. The three different alarms (radio, beep, and cockadoodledoo!) will irritate you awake no problem.
The only possible drawback could be that the light can be a bit bright even on the lowest setting.
