panasonic xv1o

I purchased this dvd player as an upgrade to my lg dvd player.
Picture quality is outstanding as is the sound reproduction.Set up could not be so simple and can be completed using the remote control, which can be used for all the functions of the player, this is also easy to use.
On straight cd play back the reproduction was superb the sound was crisp and clear, which was a nice surprise after the disappoint meant of cd play back from the lg.
Hook this DVD player up to D/D DTs amplifier and the sound is great.
Great DVD player worth a trail if after good quality.

As this was my first DVD player it was very impressive but do not start with a good one otherwise you may be dissappointed when you buy cheaper ones. The Panasonic is a very nice DVD and is perfect for saving space. The feature list is plentiful but it could do with more. The ability to play back VCDs is absent which I find annoying as I have many VCDs but many people don't know what they are. The function that interests me the most is the progress monitor. Simply push a button on the very stylish remote and a little bar comes up which tells you where you are in the movie or programme. Handy!

The movie picture and sound quality is superb with crystal clear picutres. Better than what you see in the cinema. The sound is very loud and clear as well although it is a little quiet on my TV but I jut turn it up. It may be something to do with the connections or something.

The player is very easy to connect with the ability of using a scart lead. This means that all you need to do is to plug in the scart to your DVD and your TV and set it up on the TV which is very easy but depends on which TV you have. The zoom function is also useful if you like the pictures big although the edges are cut off.

The remote makes it very easy to navigate through all the menus and screens on the disc. With simple buttons such as, up, down, left and right with an enter button, it is very easy aided by buttons like, menu and return.

Overall, a good, affordable, high quality, stylish and user-friendly DVD player. Go for it!!!
