Wow wot an MD

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Nov 25, 2002
I ordered this not so long ago, at first u open the box and the looks blow you away immediatly, then it is so easy to connect to youre pc and install, then u download music from the internet or upload it from a CD and put it onto the minidisc, I would reccomend this to any music lover who hates carrying around a big bulky CD player

Brilliant

(5 out of 5) by Mike Loftus on Jan 27, 2003 (Merseyside,England)
I was slightly sceptical when i first heard about this product. Mini-discs were begining to die out and i was considering buying an mp3. However when i got home and bought this brilliant bit of kit, all my worries vanished. Its small and compact, the sound quality is excellent and you can carry it in your pocket without even noticing its there.

pros!
.lightweight and small
.unlike others i found software easy to use. My computers slow as well.
.Looks good enough to eat.
.Net Md allows a variety of songs to be downloaded quickly and effeciently.
.in-line remote nice and easy to use.
.All the software youll need comes with it. Charging stand, dry battery and case.e.t.c.

cons!
.At first the unit may seem slightly difficult to use.
.You dont get a free mini-disc with it which i found pretty stingy...

Overall this producy blew me away. If your thinking of buying any music player, buy this one it rocks!

Fantastic NETMD (when you get the right software)

(5 out of 5) by John McGee on Mar 19, 2003 (Edinburgh, Scotland)
First of all everything you've heard about OpenMG software is true. The program is filled with bugs and you pretty much have to copy songs accross 1 by 1 (sometimes having to repeat cause it fails/crashes). Instead get "SonicStage"...so far ive not had any problems with SonicStage since using it, I can select my songs press transfer and it converts and writes to MD without any more interaction. I dont have to monitor and I dont have to try again. The player itself is fantastic, very small and lightweight and sound quality is great. I use LP4 and it still sounds great. Overall if your looking for a great NET MD get this.
