I was pleasantly suprised

Oct 14, 2003 - By Amazon Customer

I was expecting to get a cheap headset for a cheap price, but discovered that the sound quality was very good and it was easy to use and comfortable to wear.

Brill

Jul 28, 2005 - By Amazon Customer

Im only 14 and i got my mother to buy me this. It was 9 in the morning when the postman came. he passed me the box(quite a big box) opened it then found the headset. got it out. rushed to my room and then went"?" i diddnt know where to plug it. my headset before pluged in the front. Luckily i found that my friend had the same type of headset and he told me i had to put the two plugs into the back of the computer. one into the plug where the speakers went and the other in the plug below. I hope this is usefull to anyone who had the same problem.(it diddnt have any instructions) that puts the stars to 4.

Poor Details

Jul 26, 2005 - By Mr. C. J. Thorpe (Liverpool, England)

Reading the favourable reviews for this item I decided to purchase it as it seemed reasonably cheap and was an item I required.

However when I got it I found it had to headphone plugs both of which are required to make it fully work. My computer only has one port. The details written on amazon and on the packaging never mentioned the two plugs.

I tried to test this anyway trying one port but then you would only get sound out of one ear piece.

I use an Apple Mac and it does not seem compatible with Macintosh computers. The microphone would not work at all. I even dusted off my old iMac which does have two headphone ports and the sound did come in both ear pieces but the microphone still did not work.

Overall though this might be fine for a PC user it does not work properly at all for mac users or for those who only have one headphone port. Neither of these facts were mentioned anywhere.

Cheap as Chips

Jun 29, 2005 - By A. Marczak (Didcot)

I use this headset with Skype on a PC, and so far there I can find little fault with it.

As mentioned in another review, the mic is not that flexible, and the shape means you can only wear it one way round - i.e. the mic has to be on your left side, it can't be on your right.

but then, for £7, what do you expect? You expect to be able to speak through the mic and hear through the headphones. And that's what happens. Simple. Sound quality to the headphones is good, and no one has ever complained about my voice quality.

Good Sound, Good Microphone

Feb 8, 2005 - By Isis Vixen (Brandon, England)

I really liked this headset. I was expecting some thing "cheap" but I was really surprised with the quality and the clarity of the sound. The microphone is great too. Nothing to get in your way.
