What can I say other than absolutely brilliant? when I first played my favorite film (the matrix), whilst travelling, it was like being in you own mini cinema.The sound quality is amazing, unlike what you might expect, the LCD screen is incredible as it is clear and full of colour.I was extremely impressed by the virtual surround sound when you plugged your headphones in so it didn't loose its cinema sound quality.I also like the video out so you can connect it to you television and play dvds on your widescreen t.v. Overall I rate this product highly and would recommend it to anyone.

Finally got my hands on this brilliant piece of kit. If you are thinking of getting one of these you definataly should! Not only is it brilliant to watch on the move,its brilliant to watch on your tv whether thats a widescreen or not. The player has a 4 hour battery life whilst watching it on the lcd screen or around eight hours if you connect it to a tv, so its wicked to take to a mates house to watch films there! The quality and look of the machine is really good, get one if you can you wont be disapointed

What a superb buy! I happen to do a lot of travelling and there is little more frustrating than to find that the airline movie is a stinker. With this you can watch what you want, when you want which is great. I would thoroughly recommend this to anybody who travels a lot.
(5 out of 5)The Best Portable DVD Player on the market (Feb-2003)
I Bought this DVD player almost a year ago, and have been extremely happy with it. In fact I am trying to buy another one but they are not in circulation any more.
This specific model beats all the others listed. Even the brand new 9 inch screen model for the following reasons: 1. the battery life is over 4 hours. This means you can watch DVDs on all European flights that do not have a battery recharger on Board. You do not have to worry about brightness setting in relation to battery life. 2. This DVD player plays both region 2 and region 1 DVDs. (a non-publisised fact) extremely useful for buying DVDs when travelling in North America. 3. It is very light weight.
I don't understand why it has been removed from circulation when earlier models are still on sale!...or maybe given the features listed above, maybe I do! None of the newer models come close to the features offered by this specific model.
