I think this machine is really good, I have two of them at home and have had them for over 6 months no problems with them at all. The functions available on this DVD player far out way what you get with your average Multi region player eg. Pre-set & programmable graphic equaliser. I also have another two DVD players and I have had more problems with the brand name DVD player I own than the Kiiro. I feel that the unfortunate customers who have written the poor reviews have just been unfortunate.

Lets face it nothing in this world is perfect and one way or another eventually these machines will reach the end of their functioning life.

The first machine was faulty, in that it kept freeze framing and reverting from zoom. A phone call to the manufacturers resulted in a new machine being couriered to me. Unfortunately, after only one attempt, this machine also froze. Maybe just a tempoary glitch, but it has spoiled what otherwise seems a good machine.

Rarely have I been so impressed by a piece of consumer electronics as this. Received today after ordering yesterday (well done again Amazon). This kit does exactly what I was hoping it would do and more: automatically detect and play any region dvds, home crafted vcds, mp3 disks etc. There's tons of playback features to keep you amused. Set up was simplicity itself with the quick guide. The main manual is very well written with every feature explained. I was considering either this machine or the Yelo. Well, I cannot comment on the Yello's performance, but the Kiiro is totally brilliant! Buy it now, and prepare to have your socks truly blown off.

Excellent product , but beware this a midi sized palyer not that it makes any differance to quailty.I wanted it for mainly mp3 playback and i wasn't dissapointed - with its on-screen menu it makes it so simple to navigate mp3 disks.Also it has a scart lead included and batteries so it's ready to go stright out of the box.Used region 1,2 disks witn no probs and cdr/cdrw's,vcd's.So far everthing i have placed in the machine have worked v.well.And with excellent delivery i just cannot fault Amazon.

Bought this dvd player thinking it would be great, i then built my collection of dvds steadily, and had 50 within about a month, it worked ok at first, but after about two weeks it started to skip and freeze all throughout films and there was also quite a noticable lip sync problem. i phoned the help desk at kiiro and they said they would replace it. i then was given one day later a second hand used model, so i put in the big lebowski dvd, and in the first 10 minutes it had skipped and paused 7 times. i would recommend people to save a litle harder and buy a brand name like sony. my only hope now is for a refund so i can buy a better player, a proven good one. i was attracted to the price, but the price doesnt matter at all if the player doesnt work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!
