Recieving this mp3 player as a gift from my brother in the States, I was at first rather sceptical about its quality, as I had never before heard fo the company Saehan (and have experienced some rather suspect products from unknown brands) but having owned it for a few days, I realised how brilliant a piece of equipment it is. Firstly, as I knew from the moment I opened the packaging, it is a visual treat, as well as being light and a perfect shape to fit neatly into the pocket. The alkaline battery, too, was of great convienience, as it eradicated the need for the time consuming charging process that accompanies most portable audio players these days. The music download was fast and provided superb quality, complemented by the excellent pair of earphones with which it was supplied. Button layout on the remote control may be slightly fiddly at first for those, like me, who no longer have the most slender of fingers, but becomes like second nature after a little usage. I would advise the purchase of a compact media flash card to boost the playback time a little, there being only 32mb supplied, but they are getting cheaper and cheaper nowadays so it shouldn't lighten you're purse too much.
All in all, I found this mp3 player excellent to look at, carry and use and would recommend it to anyone (provided they can look, as I eventually maged, past the brand name).
....
i got this mp3 player today, through amazon, and i think it's quite nice. the mp3 player is really small and it doesn't weigh anything at all, if u put it inside ur pocket, u dont even feel u have something in ur pocket. the quality of the sound is quite good, and the battery life is quite long too. however, i think there are a couple of things that could have been better. the controler could have had a little LCD attached to it, i can't see what is happening without taking the mp3 player out of the pocket... the software attached to it is really simple and easy to use, however, the USB drivers aren't compatible with windows XP. i managed to install the drivers ignoring an error messege i received, and it worked well, but i don't manage to put any mp3 files to my smartmedia card. i am not sure if this is because of the mp3 player, smartmedia card, or the USB drivers... another odd thing is that in the LCD, when u are reading korean characters, u cannot read the entire thing, as the upper part is cut i don't know why. apart from these things, i think this little mp3 player is really good. all in all, i think there aren't many mp3 players better than this one. oh, and by the way, if anyone knows why i can't put any mp3 files in the smartmedia card, please send me an e-mail, thank you.
Big player small price
This is an excellent first player with all the features of a much pricier mp3. I especially like the sound quality of the built in FM radio, which may i add that most of the other players lack. The sond quality on the mp3 is near CD standard. The software is very simple to use, by initiating the drag and drop function.
The main problem is the small memory capacity, however this can be upgraded to 96mb by using the expansion port.
Highly recommended!

This thing is really quite amazing. I have found several uses for the recording device, you can even listen to the amplified sound as you are recording. I did also use it to back important information from my pc. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of it's well deserved 5 is because it packed up on me. The memo displayed strange charectares in blockform. I think this was a one off incident though.
A Good Buy
A nice small/light player with good sound quality (although this isn't noticable if you use the shoddy headphones provided). It only has got 32Mb memory but smart media isn't expensive so this isn't a major problem. unfortunately the rather tacky looking remote is captive, so to use your own headphones (which is a must) you've go to get out your soldering iron (which I did, and surprisingly managed to get it working!). The headphones supplied are cheap nasty affairs anyway that do not do justice to the high quality output, but used with my sony MDR-E70 ear buds it sounds amazing. FM radio is a major bonus, although the reception isnt terribly good + it seems to be lacking on volume (only the radio). Overall a very good MP3 player, just needs a couple of refinements to get a 5 star rating.
