This product is great, I have a 4x satelite speaker setup with 1x subwoofer and it sounds amazing, If you play an acoustic song, believe me.. It WILL sound acoustic! I got this soundcard on christmas morning and i woke up the whole house! :)
Im thinking about buying a new 5.1 speaker system soon, with a digital output, im sure it'll sound 10 times better.. You really notice the quality of the amazing sound processor when you turn it up loud, but really, you need at least 4 speakers to experience the real quality of the audigy, whether you listen to music, play games, or record music.. the audigy is for you. price tag is a little high but its all worth it, you get so much stuff.. including the audigy soundcard with a processor of a speed 4 times more then average soundcards, a S1394 network card, a 5"25 Audigy drive, an infrared remote control, all the wires you need (and some you dont!), the manual is a little pathetic, not much info.. but installation isnt that hard if your used to installing hardware.
Make sure you have a screwdriver ready, along with 2 free pci-slots beside eachother, and a free 5"25inch drive bay.. Its not a full sized drive so it should fit in without any problems. If you have Windows XP You should download the drivers before you get the product.
if you listen to a lot of mp3s, get this product.
if your a gamer, a regular gamer, get this product.
if your a musician, get this product!

This sound card is astonishing.
Reliable within the Windows enviroment as well as in games, the EAX engine performs great sound thru quality speakers.
The firewire ports allow you to network.
The internal rack makes life so much easier, and is elegant.
