Audigy : Ultimate in PC Sound

I won't go into any great detail but I will say that the SB Audigy Platinum EX is THE definitive soundcard. The sound quality is unsurpassed. While listening to my MP3s I noticed the difference between my SB Live 5.1 and the Audigy almost immediately. In Operation Flashpoint, even though it does NOT support the New EAX, the sounds were crisper and the Positional audio more accurate. It is Expensive, but it is worth every cent if you take your audio seriously. In a Nutshell it is to sound what the Geforce 3 is to Graphics : UNMISSABLE.

I would even pay £500 for this card

I did not buy this card from amazon as I was afraid that I will have problems with the card so I thought it will be better if I buy it from somewhere close to me so I can take it back with no much trouble and time waste.
This means I paid ... more than the amazon price.
I had many problems with the live platinium as the drivers where conflicting with the ones from the ATI multimedia center but that was not the case with the Audigy EX as everything went very very smoothly.
I wish I bought it from Amazon and saved myself ... but as I said in the title I would pay even more for this card,the sound is fantastic without even a hint of hiss or noise, realy low latency(can go as low as 2 ms but makes my 800mhz pentium III go a bit close to the limit).
So if you like your music and sound and you are into making music with your PC just BUY IT.
YOU CAN NOT BUY ANYTHING BETTER AT THIS PRICE.

WOW.......

This Is THE sound card, i've tryed various soundcards. even more expensive ones and this is the business. the external box is great it has optical, firewire, mic, aux in, spdif and a normal line in connection make this the multimedia device all you home studio ppl need. BUT.... Make sure you arent usin win 98SE or higher. win 95 & 98 dont support it. If you dont have them go but this sound card and then upgrade ur computer... go.. why u stil readin this??? u supposed to be buyin....
