This is simply the best mouse/trackball that I've ever used - I would recommend it to anyone who gets shoulder or wrist pain from using a conventional mouse. I used to have a lot of shoulder tension from using an ordinary mouse, and am now an absolute convert to trackballs (and I've made quite a few other converts along the way). The ergonomic design means that there's no strain on the hand - the hand just rests neatly over the device. It's really comfortable to use, and the smooth rollerball makes pointing and clicking incredibly accurate. It probably took me a couple of hours to get used to, but after that I actually found it much quicker and easier to use than my old mouse. The only problem I can think of is that it would be difficult to use if you are left-handed. Otherwise, it makes using a PC very much more comfortable. Tell all your friends!

On the whole this seems like a well made piece of kit. The thumb-ball is easy to use and fairly accurate. The buttons and wheel could be better, a bit more resistance and a more positive click. Drag and drop is a little awkward at first but you get used to it.

Maybe not for gamers but good enough for most purposes this is the best trackball I've tried so far.
It has reduced the pains I've suffered from RSI, but put it down as a change being as good as a rest, not a cure.
I'm pretty satisfied with this product, although I think it could use some improvement.

ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AN ORDINARY MOUSE.THIS IS THE SECOND LOGITECH TRACKBALL I HAVE PURCHASED OVER THE YEARS AND FIND THEM TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS.....RECOMMENDED

Been using this for 2 years now. Had no problems. Easy to use, requires no setup with XP. Comfortable & accurate. I have tried several other trackballs and this is by far the best and most instinctive to use.

I've used mine for donkey's years (games, browsing etc) and never had a moment's trouble with the little beauty. Put simply, this trackball makes mice a thing of the past. Admittidly, they take a little getting used to, but once you do you'll kick yourself for all those times you've missed out on whilst still using a clunky old mouse! One last thing: if you are a gamer and wondering about making the switch; let me put your mind at rest -
a top mouse player is no match for a top trackball player.
