sony foldable headphones

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Oct 22, 2003
At first sight the headphones look quite fragile however with a bit of use you realise that they are very durable. The compactness of these headphones make them a joy to use. The sound quality is excellent (for normal use), and should drown out most most normal external sounds. Apart from that they are a basic pair of headphones. The cord you will find is long enough for easy listening but not too long so as to get tangled.

Perhaps it's my head, but...

These headphones fit very well, unless you ever move your head, in which case they will shift position or simply fall off. There doesn't seem to be sufficient springiness in the headgrip, perhaps because of the hinges they had to incorporate in order to make the 'phones foldable.

Unfortunately, the sound quality doesn't compensate., even when you physically press the earphones inwards. My advice is to spend more money, or spend the same amount but go for a pair without the folding action.

Does the job very well

(5 out of 5) by N. C. Truscott on Sep 3, 2005 (lincoln, uk)
Bought to link up to a portable DVD player. Thorough road test on summer holidys. Verdict-Looked flimsy but proved very robust. Good sound quality. Collapse down neatly to enable storage in a car pocket. Only critcism, lead could be slightly longer. Not more that I can say, recommended.
