I give it an extra 3 stars

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on May 7, 2002
The only drawback is that the software is not written for windows xp. It can still be installed and used, but it does not always work okay and sometimes the 9210 freezes up. The only way out of this, is to take the battery out and back in, after that it works again.I was able so to completely back up my contacts unto my pc.

One can download programs from the net and install them, using the cable. The phone is a must for people with lots of things on their mind.
Its like a small laptop, with lots of very practical features.

I had lots of phones , but this one is the best. 8 Stars....

the best pda by far

(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 27, 2001
this is the best pda phone available today but its not available on all the networks yet only vodafone and cellnet have support if you need help with the settings. its available on orange soon.the colour graphics are brilliant so is the phone book and calender functions.it has full motion video aswell as full colour games. the best gadget is the ringtones as you can have real music as your ringtone! Make sure you get version 3.54 as the software has been updated to get rid of a couple of bugs.

The All in one communication device

(5 out of 5) by andyhack@empia. on Sep 27, 2001 (Swindon)
The Nokia 9210 Communicator is simply the best, its your PDA, your mobile phone and your laptop computer rolled into one. The advantage of being able to communicate by phone, text or email, enables you to keep in touch with you friends and business collegues more easily. The colour screen is fresh and easy to read, the operating system is quicker and faster than your normal P.C. or so it seems. The keys on the keyboard are just the right size for the endless typing of emails.
Once you have one you'd be lost with out it.

Probably the best Phone/PDA in the world!!!

(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 17, 2002
I had my 9210 just before Christmas, having watied a number of months for Orange supply it. Frankly it was worth the wait, having the combination of my phone and organiser is so usefull. The messaging is all together, so I can send and recieve faxes, send SMS, and keep my existing e-mail accounts..phew. The only draw backs, if I can call it that, is that the ignorant think you have an 1980's phone, and it's not a good for the fellas to carry it in their trousers!!!. I would appreciated if the great colour screen, was touch sensitve as navigating the net, can be a chore using the tab key. Other than that It is an excellent tool, and my 'funky' ring tone impresses the masses.

The best phone cum PDA without a camera

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jul 9, 2003
This is one hell of a phone. Since I have had it I have used it to most of its capacity and find it more than adequate. I love the audio facility and kids love to be kept busy with the 9 or so games. One of the other fantastic things is that it can be used in a basement - can you believe that. Other phones fail even the Nokia 8890 with its antenna but this one is perfect even in a basement. I have used this on the underground on a platform - phenomenal. The facility to view missed and made calls is really excellent and clear. If I wanted to upgrade I would go for the Sony NZ90 only because of the digital camera - n other reason. This is perfect. I love the fact that five of us can speak at the same time i.e. leave the audio on and the speaker facility kicks in. This is one of the best features. I tend to draw a lot of looks once I open the phone as people then realise that it isn't a brick. Love the phone and the only thing that can better it now is it having an integrated digital/video camera .
