After dealing with the tragedy of having my Sony PC100 camera stolen, the arrival of my PC110 soon bought a smile to my face again..even if it hurt the credit card!

I thought the PC100 was good, but this thing rocks! Integrated flash is great, the controls were a shock initially, but soon got used to them. Even works as a webcam through your Firware Card!

Just bring on my next trip so I can use it again ;)

From the moment I opened the box, it just took my breath away (thats not a side effect of the price), it was above all my expectations. The only drawback is that you really need a 32Mb or 64Mb memory stick (rather than the inadequate 4Mb) and Sony... why did you not include Progressive Scan! The video footage is excellent and although I am familiar with the results from a 3.34m pixel Sony Digital camera some of the shots from the PC110's 1070k pixels are spectacular. Worth every penny.

Just a comment on your criticism of trying to use the little finger on the control buttons - the handle should be opened fully down and the whole hand put through. The base of the thumb holds the back of the camera and the tip takes the pictures, whilst the first two fingers easily use the photo and zoom buttons. The two little fingers hold the front of the camera securely. Used this way the 110 is unobtrusive and nearly "fits in the palm of your hand". A real beauty!

This camcorder is the business! Take your still pictures (with the excellent built in flash), plug it into a PC running Windows XP using the supplied USB cable, and in a few seconds your pictures are on your PC ready for editing, emailing or printing. Incredible! You don't even need to open the software that comes with the camera!! The DV quality is amazing. Record your movies, hook the camera up using the Firewire port and you're off! Very impressed.

I was very disapointed when i bought 3 of these cameras for my business, within 2 weeks the LCD display had snapped of one of the recorders, the playback is terrible and the LCD is unclear. although i did not expect this from Sony, but next time i will buy a better speced camera, as i expected too much for the little money i paid for them.
