The world's finest SLR

PROS:

As usual, canon introduces the newest technology at the best price. The eos 30 has "eye control focus," which is very useful. It makes composing the picture much easier and faster, because the camera actually senses where you are looking at in the photo.

The photo quality is the best in it's class. Better than ANY digital camera, and only bettered when you spend above a grand.
This is an excellent camera. If this your first time buying an SLR, go for this camera. It will help you grow into an advanced amateur. Functions and buttons are easy to understand.

CONS:

-The 28-90 standard canon is to narrow for your first lense... go for a 24-75 or a SIGMA 24-135 8-) - The extra money is worth it!

-if you have the eye control focus on, make sure you look at you subject!
