The All-in-Wonder Radeon integrates 32Mb of DDR RAM, a TV tuner, DVD decoding and video-capture capabilities all onto one AGP card. These multifunction cards not only save money, but also precious expansion slots inside your PC.
Where the Radeon begins to make its mark is with its software bundle. ATi's Multimedia Centre packs in more features than ever before and seamlessly integrates all the card's functions. One feature is the Teletext applet, which allows page caching. ATi was the first to introduce timeshifting to its TV-equipped graphics cards, and this is another useful feature. VideoStudio and Cool3D complete the bundle. I couldn't fault the video-capture quality, but I did found the picture from the TV tuner a little shaky.
I was impressed to see so many cables included in the box, and the breakout box makes it convenient to hook up your video source. ATi even provides a Dolby Digital RCA connector on the output adapter, allowing you to directly connect a decoder without the need for extra sound hardware.
The All-in-Wonder didn't disappoint in my tests, even topping the Video2000 chart. It managed to stay in the upper half of the group in almost all the 3D benchmarks, staying comfortably ahead of its SDR cousin. Despite competition from other multifunction cards, the Radeon's excellent bundle and unbeatable features list were easily enough to secure itself with another Satisfied Customer.
