These little beauties really are very good. The range is as the instructions say and I was impressed with the reception and clarity in a particularly mountainous area in Spain. The simplicity of this pair of gadgets was perfect. Switch them on, choose a channel and off you go. I did find a couple of areas of doubt though. The first was the ease of which these yellow gems turn themselves on when put down or put in pockets with other objects. The second was the fact that we weren't able to get them to work with another set by a different manufacturer. Who was to blame we shall never know. I really do recommend them for those snowboarding, hiking and kayaking type trips.

A good set of 2 way radios. Colourful, neat, easy to use and with superb RX / TX quality.
In good conditions, can easily exceed the 2 mile operating distance.
With the addition of battery packs and charger, a serious bit of kit.
