Poor sounding Sony

Dec 14, 2001 - By Le Critique

I use headphone every day, both at home and at work. I have heard more coherent sound from two cups held together by string. at low volumes they sound acceptable, but push them even slightly and the bass distorts and become in-coherent. at this price point very disappointing. I would spend a little more and get some entry level Senheisers

Something to tell you all before you buy them

Dec 27, 2001 - By Amazon Customer

Headphones are great and comfortable, good looking and sound great.
One down side is the line from the headphones to the player is very thin and ive broke mine, so its upto you, are you more careful than me if so, buy them by all means.
But if your like me in a hurry forget things then dont get these go for the other styles

The Best headphones on the market

Sep 2, 2002 - By Amazon Customer

If you are serious about your music and you do alot of sport or blading, or simply like to get the best quality out of your walkman, then these headphones are for you. The quality of the sounds is second to none, and the "street style" is a winner with me. As the other people above have said, the only thing wrong with them is that after prolonged use (about a year?), they will become damaged. But saying that, Im actually going to buy another pair of these headphones again, because these are, quite simply, the best headphones on the market.

amazing sound quality!!!

Sep 7, 2001 - By Amazon Customer

after having the old fashioned style head phones for so long, i descided to get a more modern set. as a keen lover of music and as a member of the gym, i needed head phone leads that would stay out of my may, and thats exactly what the sony "street style headphones" did. also i have quite large spikey hair and it was a relef to have the neck band so my barnet doesn't get messed up with the usual over-the-top-of-the-head style. these head phones have a great bass sound and i would recomend them to anyone. 11/10.

Excellent value, looks and performance!

Oct 22, 2003 - By Javen (Bristol, Avon United Kingdom)

I have had a pair of thee for over a year now, and despite constnt dialy use, they are still 100% intact, maintaining the strength and resilience they had the day I bought them.

They are comfortable, good-looking and don't mess up your hair (a plus, I feel). I have tested them with music, DVDs and Games across a number of machines and they have always given excellent performance, with crisp clear sound, accentuated with subtle, palpable bass levels.

All in all, an excellent pair of 'Phones!
